| Calming collar I thought I might try the sentry calming collar for my little 4 month old puppy... He hates car rides and he's hard to settle at night. Has anyone used these before? Any other ideas?

| Well there are pheromone sprays that has calming effects that you can spray on the booster seat, etc. they have lavender scents so it's not too off putting. Thundershirts might also work (aside from thunder times). Or trying to make being in the car pleasant. Like going to really awesome places (like a park or something) or sitting there and just hold them while someone drives. My yorkie girl has no issues with the car just as long as it's not crazy bouncy (I have held her all the way home when I picked her up and have always tried to take her to fun places and that worked for me) and my other dogs are obsessed with getting in the car lol

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Lol...sounds like puppy has a *bit* of energy, eh? Yup, must be all yorkie! I'm not sure how well the calming collar would work - but may be worth a try. You could also get some calming balms that you can rub on their ears or whatnot.

| Yeah my yorkiw girl I had for 13 years loved the car and so does my Shorkie... I take tucker every where and he whines until he finally settles but he doesn't always settle for maybe just a few minutes and I have to drive 9 hours with him coming up so I'm trying to find something that may work to relax him
