YT 500 Club Member | Puppy feet My 1 month old male puppy has really large feet. He's at the breeders and I visit once a week. Can't help noticing his large feet. Does this mean anything? |

| I would not think anything of it... Just hope you didn't pick a certain puppy by size where it can chart to be a certain tiny size is all.

| I don't know that there's anything in it, but ZoE was supposed to be 6-7lbs (my last yorkie was 5lbs so I figured only slightly bigger), and she had big paws, and boy did she grow into them! She ended up topping 10lbs, and she's not fat, just big! She is literally twice the size of my last yorkie! Here's ZoE as a puppy.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | It could possibly indicate the ultimate size in the end. How big are the parents and grandparents?

YT 500 Club Member | Parents of big puppy feet The breeder brought out the parents of my pup. He said because of insurance reasons I could not touch them. Dad was 6 lbs and mon was a little over 7 lbs. I saw the pedigree on paper going back 5 generations. With all the beautiful hair on the parents I couldn't see anything. My last Yorkie at his heaviest was 9.9 lbs and I thought that was big |

| My mom, with all her mom wisdom, said big feet, big dog. She also said if the roof of a dog's mouth was speckled, it meant he was smart...! Go figure! Don't get me wrong, my mom is a delightfully intelligent woman, but she does come up with some interesting 'mom facts...' I'm sure you little one will be thee perfect size and fit! |

| When a groomer saw Magnu's paws, she looks at me and says "you must feed him really well... he seems so much bigger compared to his paws!" Magnus is now 16 lbs and I do think his paws are big on the smaller size for him. LOL Bit off topic... seeing a pic of puppy's paw makes me want to tickle it.. Which I do sometimes with my two. Anyone else gets the urge???? |

| I do believe big feet means he's going to be a bigger Yorkie. Puppies tend to grow into their paws. Also, most breeds (and more typically larger breeds) tend to have bigger front paws than back paws.
