YT 500 Club Member | Alone My baby will be home in April. Even though I'm a stay at home Yorkie mom, I'm only away from home 2 - 4 hours a day. He will be safely secured in his x pen though I still think this is a long time for such a young guy. Any thoughts? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I think being alone for that short amount of time should really be okay .

| I'm also a stay at home mom and I leave my new yorkie for that amount of time in her playpen and she's fine. Only thing I've noticed is that she screams bloody murder when I get home until I pick her up. Today also she stepped in her poo and made a great mess for me. Today I was gone a little long though almost all day from 9-3. So two to four hours should be easy. |

| I think (safe) alone time is very healthy for a pup.

| I agree. Safe, alone time (2-4 hrs) makes for a well-adjusted little one; I'm thinking it's a lot harder on us than them, actually!! |
