| I am near the Boca area as well and having the same problem. I love the breed and got a beautiful healthy looking baby girl with the sweetest personality, only tonfind out she had liver problems and I had to give her back to the breeder. I miss her terribly and now scared to trust anyone for a healthy puppy. Hopefully someone here can recommend a good, honest breeder.

| Maybe this could help http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/bre...e-breeder.html. You also might want to check out the ytca.org. Another good thing is when you think you have found a breeder post here and ask about them because someone might can see something you missed or have had some kind of interaction with the breeder. Keep in mind though there are some health issues that pop up even when a puppy comes from an amazing breeder. One of the best things to do with any puppy is to get pet insurance.

| Rescue Yorkies, Don't Buy Them Personally, I do not trust any breeder. All my Yorkies are rescues. Yorkies, even pups, show up at shelters all the time. One great website for finding a Yorkie (or any other breed) is rescueme.org. Some of the abandonment and abuse stories will break your heart. Please take a look at the site and perhaps give a new home to a Yorkie in desperate need. |
