| Feeding question Can I over feed my Yorkie puppies? I was told by a lot of people to free feed them but they have eaten so much they wobble when they walk like two prego girls at the buffet lol |

| Sure, it's possible to overfeed them, but how old are they? If they're puppies, I wouldn't worry. Free feeding is fine. Once they are older and fixed it will depend on their activity level how much food they'll need. As an adult, you should be able to feel their ribs and hips easily (not like boney) but if it feels like there is "padding" you might wanna cut back. It's not good for any dog, let alone a yorkie to be overweight. It's hard on their joints & will shorten their lives.

| Thank you so much they are 9 weeks. They are very good eaters today is their first day home. I wish I could post pics but for some reason I haven't been able to put even one pic up today. I was just worried I don't want to make them sick or anything. They both weight 1lb 7oz well they probably weigh more right now cause they have been chowing down all day. I was surprised cause they went to see the vet got shots had a long ride in the care from the breeder to the vet 1hr then to our home 1hr and being away from mom and their litter mates but so far it's been perfect they use the potty pads eat drink and have played and cuddled up on my lap and in their crate. |

| I free fed my baby till 3 months. Now he gets 3 meals and plenty of training treats! It helps with potty training plus he's gained a lot of weight and does feel a little padded in the belly |
