| Cut on nose? The other day I noticed what looks like a little cut on the top of Molli's nose. They were not bleeding or anything. I am not sure how she got them but she is a bit of a tough player and runs around like a maniac sometimes so maybe she bumped into something. My worry is that it's been a few days and it doesn't look any better. I would put neosporin on it but she'd probably just lick it off. Are these scratches just there forever now? Is it a scar? Will the black on her nose grow back? Is there anything I can do about it? I wasn't worried at first but now I'm worried that I should be worried anyone have experience with this? (This pic was of her just getting up in the morning excuse the bed head lol)

| Poor baby! I love bed head! Sissy scratched and bloodied her nose when she was in the hospital. At home we crate her at dinner time so Bubba doesn't steal her dinner but we don't latch it and when she is done she just pushes the door open and comes out. She must of spend a lot of time pushing the door on the crate at the vets and damaged her nose. I had to laugh because her vet kept saying " I don't know how that happened" Anyway her nose has completely healed, color has return. So there is hope.

| Max has scraped his nose and the black rim of one of his eyes. Both healed and returned to normal color. I put a little coconut oil on his nose. Safer to lick than Neosporin and just as effective. Best wishes to your sweet baby.

| That is good to know Kristen. I haven't had a nose nick before, but nice to know it will heal back to normal. And I agree coconut oil would work just as well and would taste much better. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Omg, what a little cutie, first of all ! Love the bed head! I think this will heal up, over time...moist areas always take longer to heal. Coconut oil is a great idea.
