| The DNA tests are in and... I have a ginormous yorkie! So...last year a lost love showed up in my life and moved right in. He is an incredable, smart, joy filled dog. It was obvious to us all (townhome community) that he was part yorkie, but didn't know what else he was mixed with. Last month I did two different DNA tests on him. I thought it would be fun to know where he got all his different perfect parts from. So excited when I got the results from both companies this week and...stunned! Why stunned - I have a 25lb (not overweight, perfect health, 20 lbs when we found him but had been on his own for a bit), 13 inch high, wavy haired pure yorkie. I've read a lot today on the origin of yorkies and how in the UK they use to get up to 32lbs. I'm guessing his Dad must have been from England! Does anyone else have one this size?? Did I mention...best dog on the planet!! |

| First he is beautiful I would hug all over that teddy bear, second does he bark with a British accent? I'm just kidding about the bark but wow he is big and gorgeous. You are a lucky Yorkie parent. I'm new here don't have my babies home yet but will in a few weeks |

| Welcome to YT, He is a lil beauty, well he has my passed baby girl beat, she tipped the scales at 17 Lbs. No fat, sleek beautiful body, I have a pic of her hunting in my album. I LOVE ginormous yorkies. My adopted boy is 12 lbs, a peanut compared to my beautiful 17 lb girl. That was awesome you did 2 DNA's.

| Your boy is quite handsome and looks like 100% to me. I had my rescue maltese done - also two different companies - because he was so big and yes, he was 100% maltese - just a big one. I think the bigger ones have less health problems. They seem to be more sturdy.

| Hi, welcome, and congratulations! He is a beautiful boy with such a sweet face! How fun you did two DNA tests on him. He was obviously destined to be with you. Yorkies are absolutely wonderful, in my obviously 'jaded' opinion...LOL. I hope you have a long life together...I believe he will bring much love, companionship, joy...and entertainment into your life. Oh, and he will probably improve your spelling, too...Yorkies can develop quite extensive vocabularies!

| I love all sized Yorkies but the teapots, the big boys and girls, always remind me of the Yorkies' earliest beginnings, before downsizing and then, pint-sizing, and just how hardy and sturdy and hard-working the Yorkshire Terrier foundation stock were. Congratulations on your big, healthy Yorkie beauty!!!!!!!!! I just pray that one day I never hear of a 65 lb. Yorkie, because I just know, it will quickly rule the world all by itself!!!

| He is absolutely gorgeous!!! Daisy is 18 lbs of spunky, feisty, brilliant, stubborn, adorable and smarter-than-me Yorkie love. She is the love of my life. I thought I was getting a 7 pounder but since I have had her I would never want a smaller one. Just love your big boy!
