YT 500 Club Member | Really bummed Need some words from anyone out there I'm going to see a 2 week old pup in a day. I'm so worried I will make the wrong decision. I turned down a breeder last week. Breeder couldn't answer questions to my liking. That only leaves this breeder I'm seeing now. Breeders around here a few and far. I know this breeder will want a deposit if the situation goes good. Really hesitant. Please pray I will make the right decision. Yorkies are not just dogs. They are our hearts. Thanks for listening. |

| I'll be praying for you. Among all the usual, I'd really check out the lines of the parents and grandparents for health and temperament issues with the breeder, find out how much the breeder seems to know about those subjects of this litter's heritage, why it matters to you as a potential owner of one of the dogs, etc., and what health certifications or history both mom and dad have, etc. You can't hardly go wrong with any Yorkie you choose, though. Here's hoping you hit the jackpot and pick out a little blessing for yourself just like we all did!

| I would definitely check out the breeder first. I could not find any good ones in our state so we had to drive out of state to get our little Kinder. The trip was well worth it and we met a wonderful breeder that cares about breeding yorkies. Our last yorkie had genetic IBD and today that breeder still has that in her line. I do not wish that disease on anybody with a yorkie. Anyways best wishes and I know you will come up with a great decision. Susan |
