| What color will she be? Hi there! I just purchased a 12 week old yorkie we called Bambi. I actually found her online and drove out to FL to purchase her, but in her original photos, she looked like a blonde yorkie, maybe a little darker than most. I was sent pictures of her parents, and her mom is a blonde, her dad is a chocolate. Now that I have her home, I've noticed her head is blonde (almost white), her body is tipped with a reddish brown, and then under that is a pepper grey. Her tail is black and she has some white on her toes. I adore her but I can't figure out what color she would be classified as or even what color you would call her. Thanks in advanced for your help! I hop you can see the grey coming up in the pictures, I used her 'advertised' pics but now that I've looked at them I can see the grey. |

| Because she's not a 'standard' blue and tan Yorkie, I would personally have no idea what color she'd end up being as an adult! Maybe some others who own non-standard Yorkies can assist? I have some baby pics under my profile of my Teddy and, as you can see, he looked vastly different as a baby as far as coloring. At 15 months of age, his face has turned from black, to gray and gold and his body has turned from pure black to black and silver. Hopefully, someone can give you some guidance. Welcome to YT |

| Is her nose black? (it looks to be in her photos). She appears to be a sable. Notice the banded hair strands. I have a (brown) sable poodle cross, she looks blonde with darker brown ears because I keep her body hair short and let her ears grow. The banded hair has darker tips, so if you trim it, it looks lighter than the ends of the hair. Whatever she grows to look like, I'm guessing she will be pretty since she's so pretty now. |

| Seems like their hair color changes, alot! Sophie started out really black and tan as did Ellie but Ellie is silver & gold and Sophie is charcoal grey & tan. Another pup in the family is really blonde but always has dark roots.
