| Potty Training Nightmare It's warming up outside so I began training my 9 week old pup. At first she was doing really well. Only going on her pee pad at night (have her in a play pin sit up) and then going outside when I would take her. Now she doesn't go on her pad she goes outside and then comes right back in and messes in the floor. I'm a college student and when I'm at class I cannot take her out, but do as soon as I get home. This is why I have not used her crate. Also, she HATES the crate and I'm not here enough in the day to let her out of it. WhAt do I do?! Should I crate train or do something different? Help, please! I just want to train her right so she's not a year old and still not potty trained. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | 9 weeks is way too young to start worrying. The best you can do is try to get her the idea. It will be some time before she gets bladder control. You need patience, consistency and time and it will be fine. |

| Super young. I wouldn't expect anything yet. Jackson was 6 months old before he was 100% consistent. I would say he was 90% reliable by 5 months old. Lola, my family's cockapoo puppy is approx 4 months old now and she still has some poop accidents when we aren't watching her but she's gotten consistently better over the past few weeks. But for the first few weeks, it was a nightmare. She was impossible to read when she was about to go. She's also horrible in a crate. She screams/barks/yelps and then pees/poops in there anyway, she climbs out of pens, she chews through mesh crates, UGH. We've just been leaving her in a blocked off area of the house and that seems to be working well - no more accidents while we are gone, and she seems to hold it now until we get her outside. But while we're home, she always has to go pee after sleeping for a while, after playing hard, after eating/drinking, etc. It's just patience and a consistant schedule.

YT Addict | You almost have to take a puppy out every two hours round the clock Give your baby a treat and praise. For sure if they wake upotty . Twenty minutes after eating potty same with drinking , they will fallback my little boy will do the same wee outside then come in and poo. So what ihavedone is make him stay outlonger or let him in and watch if he starts sniffing and circling around i know its time to go back out. Lots of work but worth it. Also try blocking off kitchen while your gone, he/she may not feel so confined. Put plenty of potty pads down. Maybe even tape them down, |
