| White lump on top of eye (PICS) Hey, I'm a long time lurker here. Recently, I discovered a white lump on top of my baby's eye. I have no idea where it came from and what that is. Has anyone's dog experienced this? Does anybody know what that is? I am very concerned. Thanks in advanced. | I'm not an expert or anything but just from looking at the pic, it looks like part of her eye is swollen. I think it'd be best if you take to the vet to have a professional take a look at it. That'd be the safest course of action instead of trying to guess what it could be. |

| I worked as a vet tech for a while .... it looks like it could be a cyst or maybe a bug bite....can't really tell but my advice would be to have a vet check it out. My boss used to say You can never be too careful when it comes to the eyes.... If it bothers her she could injure her eye rubbing at it or rubbing it on something. The bump itself whatever it is could irritate her eye just by being there. How old is she? |

| Is it painful? If so maybe try some warm washcloth compresses. It kinda looks like infected hair or sty? |

| Thank you all. He doesn't scratch it or anything. It doesn't seem to irritate him at all. But I'm taking him to the vet tomorrow. |

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. Looks like it is probably a stye. If it is, the vet can give you meds that will help it heal faster. Let us know what your vet says. Best wishes for your little guy.
