| How old is your puppy. If you bought a puppy that is 8 weeks old he should have teeth.

| I brought Teddy home from the breeders at 12 weeks and he had been introduced to dry food (from goats milk and boiled chicken) earlier in the week. |

| wow, 5 weeks is way to young to be taken from his momma, but the deed is done. His teeth should be coming in at appox 6 weeks old. By 8 weeks he should be able to eat softened dry kibble. Be very careful now with his teeth just starting to come in, he will be looking to chew on anything and everything. Have plenty of teething toys available to him.

| My yorkie girl insisted on eating dry kibble when she was around 8 weeks (she started snubbing at her wet food by then too). That was also when all her baby teeth already came out (or about all came out). By the time she's around 6-7 months, her adult teeth about fully came in. I had her baby teeth removed when she went under for spaying. In her case, there was alot of teeth that should've already came out, but didn't ^^;; (she was a front chewer and not much on side chewing) She looked liked she suddenly had shark teeth, two rows of nearly full sets of teeth. At first my mother was all for letting them come out on their own, but as soon as I shown her those chompers, she about freaked out over it lol Our past dogs have always lost at least half their baby teeth by then, so seeing a near full two sets was a bit disturbing. Her teeth looks so much better afterwards, but I can tell she had to relearn how to grab with them teeth.

| Both yorkies I've had ate dry kibble by six weeks old. For Wolfie, he liked it if I moistened it with a little water. By eight weeks he was comfortable eating all dry kibble. Anytime I giae them anything but dry kibble they would go off their feed for a while, like they were waiting for the "good stuff" again. |
