| Hi fellow Canadian It sure is cold out there. Are your babys pee pad trained if so I would say no if they must go out to do there pees, just as long as it takes to get that done. I think that goes for almost any house dog on days like this. They say it will be like this for a few more days. brrrrr |

| I wOuld imagine it depends how they handle the cold and if you are bundling them up. Really a puppy should not go for walks until it has had all of it's shots. My big yorkie would not go for a walk in really cold weather because she just dosent tolerate it well and only wants to be outside long enough to potty then get right back inside.

| It's about 6 degrees F here today with the windchill (it says it's 18F, but feels like 6) and it is simply biteass cold for me LOL... Jax loves snow and doesn't mind cold weather but even he doesn't seem to want to stay out in it. He doesn't seem particularity bothered either tho... I mean he wasn't shivering earlier. We'll still do walks and outdoor things if it's 25F+. Anything under I usually opt out. Just potty breaks.

My ZoE will quickly run a lap or two around the backyard bundled up, but she won't stay out in it to sniff around. Heck, I don't want to be out in it! Any positive temperatures we go outside for a few minutes. She's potty pad trained, but loves to run outside.

| My Lola is a hardy soul and does not mind the cold or snow and tramps right through it but in this temp she wants to come back in side pretty quickly. It is definitely to cold to go for walks longer than like 10 min and any walk for a puppy that young is not good. Get a ball or toy and play with them inside. if they will not fetch get another person and play keep away or run around and get them to chase you, this will give them some exercise. Puppies normally don't need to "be" exercised, just being a normal puppy is exercise enough and a pup that young will sleep ALOT
