Unlove Sign the Petition.....Kiki Hamann and the Grieving Yorkie Owner.

I've been reading a lot of suspicious stories recently about Kiki Hamann who is a "world famous Couture Dog Fashion" designer. If you know one things about me it's my ability to know when something was not on the up and up. But this woman's story along with many others that I have read about recently on FB just broke my heart. Take a minute to read her story about the passing of her some and what happened after. Just heartbreaking.

I just did a search and seems this is not the first instance of her ripping people off! Wow....just wow!

Quote:
This Designer contacted me regarding a puppy that I owned. She asked to Trade merchandise from her Business in trade for the Puppy. I was given cheep made products and only 1/4 of what was owed on the trade. When I asked to collect the other owed she claimed that he was not a fit dog in her opinion as he per her only had one testicle. How ever he's been her model all along. I asked to be paid and was told not going to pay. They have now left the state of Florida we to Texas. Now I find out she's breeding this boy and selling his pups as designer owned dogs for big $$ . I was never paid one dollar for this dog. I also Won a Harness in front of many people at a party in her home for her dear friend. When I have e mails and asked about the harness I get not reply. These people are running a scam jod on lots of people. They don't send out products that they were paid for. And if you get an expensive leather bag better check it inside out. I have personally seen a postage box used as the inside support and vinyl bags come when you ordered leather. I to this day have an unpaid invoice from PayPal that they never paid me.

Here's another one.....

Quote:
I started with a bag, 850.00 ,told it was discounted from 1500.00, made by her personally. After many months, maybe

seven months or more, I continued to contact her wanting to know where my order was.

The bag at 850, Vest 150. (cuff and leash) she said I bought at 175.( I didnt, however, went along as some days I do

forget a bit, due to my disability), and a Furos**ti at 125..

At this point, I was leary of this person, who made more claims than one could ever imagine. She sent me a bag

that had been used....a vest that was not at all what was promised, infact it didnt fit the dog....theee

Kiki Famous Furos**ti , and the cuff set which I know I didn't order.

Before ordering, she sent many of us on facebook, footage of her sewing in her studio ....showing us all the lavish fashion events, using models, displaying rich meals of Lobster and seafood, her many dogs, and oh yes her Moon Salt website.

I watched her utube videos, showing her flagship store...was told endless stories of her travelling Aetlier which was near completion.....enabling her and staff

to tour around and make her fabulous creations !!! Ive recently learned from another very

angry customer that kiki does not sew !! IF we weren't so ripped off, I'd laugh at that irony !!!!!!

I might add when I paid the bill I noticed I had been overcharged by about 100.00 or so.....which I assumed she charged

for mailing however she told me shipping was free.

The ordered arrived the bag was not ok, being a seamstress myself...it was clearly, very inferior. My very small dog could ride in it, however It would buckle under the stress of both small dogs, which she guaranteed, would be just fine for both.

The way in which these bags are made, is indicictive of mass production in other countries. The materials, questionable. The fashion logo, which she claimed to apply crystal for crystal herself, she later forgot and referred to them as

"stamped" which I'm sure is mass production feature.

The vest didn't fit the dog, and when I messaged her she became so irate, at which time, I just decided to wear it on another dog of more size. The fur she used to trim these products was highly cheap looking, ruining the total look of the bag.

The vest had no logo, which I was charged for.....the cuff and leash matched the vest. A couple of

embedded crystals ( or so claimed by kiki) stones of some kind. I asked why no logo, she claimed

the vests don't come with logos like the bags, although her website is where I saw the logo vest. Always an

answer. Always an angle. There were loose threads, uneven stitching, and the Furos**ti I paid 125.00, carried a vile

stench. The material is very cheap, see through thin material, liken to that used in China for cheaply mass produced items

of various :smelly nature. In closing let me say, I would have gone to battle with this woman, however I am battling my

own diseases and am disabled.....I chose to delete her, swallow the cost, and fix or reinforce the bag and vest in time.

A far cry from the designer quality I was promised. An exorbitant amount of money , for product that needs fixing.

If I was given the opportunity for full refund, in a heartbeat I would say yes !

This woman has a long history , I found other entries here on Ripoffreport.com as well as

on the internet.

If you come in contact with the great KIKI HAMAN, DO NOT do Business with her....if you are someone who has been

ripped off by this individual...( can't call her a lady as she has preyed on not only sick, but those grieving.) you have come to the right place. What she has done to so many people is nothing short of Criminal.

write your story for all to see here.....your ripoff report. Power to the people !

I, too, have been hearing a lot of stories about this woman. I won't say that they are fact; but I can tell you that I have enough fact for me to post that she is not the type of person I would have anything to do with.

She posted www.poshfairytales.com on her Facebook page and I said that they were selling teacups and micros and I posted a rip off link about them. Kiki flipped out on me calling me an unbalanced radical and told me to preach on my own page. I have done all I can to oblige her. Here is the rip off report I had found:

http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...kie-owner.html

She blocked me from her page, but I still was able to find where she had posted about her involvement with these people. She is or was a broker for this operation. She freely admitted to being a broker for teacup yorkies. These are HER words (in the screen shots).

So, given that and some other things I have heard, I have no reason to think this person made up her Change.org petition and I have signed it because if this really happened, she should be reimbursed. IMHO that would be the right thing for a business person to do.

She recently relocated to Houston from Miami. She also had advertised teacup puppies on her Twitter feed.

Honestly the bags on her site look like junk. I bet she buys cheap purses, lines them with fur, and decorates the outside.

I've recently heard the same thing. She also has some paw shaped ring she was selling for $$$$$ and I googled it and you can buy them from China for like $2. These people were falling over themselves from the thing!

Now she is on the cover of Houston PetTalk magazine. :roll eyes:

Didn't these clowns do any type of background check on their cover model?

That's what I think. I have been trying to find where she buys them...no luck yet. I saw another "designer" with the exact same denim bags...only embellished differently.

I don't see how anyone could think these bags are worth so much money, especially a seamstress.

It looks like there's only one line of stitches holding the straps on and there's no way those crystal designs could be hand placed, it's completely nieve to not realize that's an iron on.

As for costume jewlery, I learned a long time ago to always google first, 99% of costume jewlery comes from alibaba.
My cousin saw an alice in wonderland pocket watch she wanted, it was $65 at a craft booth and $10 on etsy.

I'm honestly disgusted with the craft world right now, most things people are selling were made in China and they may embellish it a little. My grandmom used to sell ceramics, fabric dolls, and doll dresses. That was real work and skill. I also know how to do many crafts, so
I usually know the work involved in the things people make.

I've been digging around and it seems that her husband/"Director of Operations" is a convicted FELON

http://www.justice.gov/enrd/2007/LPS...7_05_Block.PDF

Quote:
United States v. Alexandre Alvarenga-Freire, No. 1:07-CR-20078 (S.D. Fla.), AUSA Tom
Watts-FitzGerald .
On March 22, 2007, Alexandre Alvarenga-Freire pleaded guilty to an information charging him with a Lacey Act violation in connection with the illegal harvesting and sale in interstate and foreign commerce of Ricordia florida, an invertebrate corallimorph (coral).
Ricordia florida, are prized by aquarists for their varied coloration and the "natural" look they give to tank displays. Both federal and Florida law closely regulate the harvesting and sale of such marine life, requiring that a person who sells salt water marine-related wildlife such as this hold a state wholesale and retail license. Freire had none of the required permits or licenses.
Freire harvesting coral

In November 2006, two German nationals were intercepted at Miami International Airport attempting to export 500 specimens of Ricordia florida for sale through their business in Dusseldorf, Germany. They admitted to investigators that they had been involved with Freire in harvesting the marine life while aboard his vessel, the "PIPPIN", east of Cudjoe Key in Monroe County. Their description made clear the activity had occurred in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.
Investigators placed a Global Positioning System tracking device on the boat and monitored its location through January 25, 2007, at which point Freire was arrested at Cudjoe Key Marina returning from the Sanctuary with a load of 400 specimens of Ricordia florida. The tracking device placed the harvesting location within the Sanctuary, confirming the information from the German nationals. Further confirmation was acquired by having an Immigration and Customs Enforcement aircraft conduct an overflight of the vessel during the three-day harvesting trip prior to Freire’s arrest.
The Sanctuary is a highly-valued 2,800 square nautical mile area that surrounds the entire archipelago of the Florida Keys and includes the productive waters of Florida Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Atlantic Ocean. It is home to unique and nationally significant marine environments, including seagrass meadows, mangrove islands, and extensive coral reefs. The cost to remediate the damage caused by the defendant’s removal of the coral from the seabed is estimated to exceed $78,000.
At the sentencing, which is scheduled for June 1, 2007, Freire will forfeit his 1969, 34-foot fiberglass hulled Morgan sailing vessel.
This case was investigated by the United State Fish and Wildlife Service, the NOAA Office for Law Enforcement, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and NOAA’s National Marine Sanctuary Program.
