| We have two but also have cats. It's a lot of work, but we love it! I know we couldn't do two because we travel a lot and three would really put a hitch in that. My two ride in a bag together, so it makes it really convenient to get around with them.

| We just got our second Yorkie earlier this week and he's a puppy so right now my answer is: 1 is too many and 1000 would never be enough! Helpful right?

| Lilah is my one and only at this time and although I appreciate the adoration one can lavish on a single and focus on the needs like high maintenance grooming needs etc, I truly feel she needs a buddy. Lilah turns two in a couple of days and it was very important to me that we establish our relationship and day to day expectation before considering another- she has been ready for a little sister for a minute now. I heard some fabulous threes a charm logic and it went like "if I have three then I can spend one on one time taking one out but the two left behind will never be sad ad lonely when I do that". I want to remember who said that on here so I can credit her but man if that didn't make a whole lot of sense and I know from having human children hat two to three is not a huge leap but life really does change higher than that, lol!

| I have one and also a cat. Neither one would probably tolerate another dog or cat lol. Roxy my cat would probably jump off a cliff if I got another one. She is such a Diva and Remy is very possessive over me so he would not appreciate it either. However, they both get along really well with each other. It's something Roxy had to get use to again after being by herself for 3 yrs.

| We have only have our little 5 year old Sophie. We also have 4 cats though, and we always joke that Sophie acts more like the cats than a typical dog. I have been trying to convince my husband since Sophie was about a year old to get another one, but so far no luck. Then last year after spending so much money on to different knee surgeries, my chances of convincing him got even lower! I really want a little brother for Sophie as she tolerates male dogs, but does not enjoy the company of females much though. Just putting it out there, she is spayed and I have no desire or intention of breeding! |

| I have only one 8 month old yorkie, Mickey. I also have a 9 year old poodle, Mitchell and a 5 month old malti-poo, Max. People think I am crazy but my home is big enough for all of us and I love my little yorkie to death. Yorkies are just different and so loveable.

| My two yorkies (males) are 8 1/2 yrs old and 10 months. I got the young one after my best yorkie friend passed away in April. He was my 2.5 lb best buddy who would sit in my lap whenever I would give him the chance. I know I still miss him. For now, I will give my new guy some time to grow up a little bit before I consider a third, but I just wanted to see what people had experienced with three. Thanks for all the great comments. Dr Bob

YT 2000 Club Member | dog I have two males, JoJo and Spud. I probably would have more but my husband said two is enough and JoJo doesn't really like him. I love Yorkies and hope to add another to our family later on. We also have zebra finches, two cockatiels and a red belly parrot. |

| I have just the one yorkie, ZoE. I have often toyed with the idea of getting another but having never owned two dogs at the same time, I'm leery. If they get along great, but if they don't, then what? I read a lot of sunshine & rainbows here on YT about owning multiples, but I know many people in person that have had major issues with multiples not getting along. The possibility of problems scares me.

| I have two but now I wonder if 2 my be too many?! We camp all summer long and it was difficult enough with Gunner and the grandchildren opening the door and him running out! My husband promised he would fence in our large deck that is in front of our camper, that would make having two much easier.
