| Hi! New to forum and newer to Yorkies Hi! I am newer to Yorkies. Am looking at a little girl to adopt and being new I do not know if she will have a short nose. I really love the look of the shorter nose and puppy look for life. I do not know proper terms but have seen as a guest an unproper term of "Teddy bear Face" I am putting in a couple photo's sent to me. Could you tell me your thoughts. She was born in October. Really am excited. Just want to know for sure before adopting a sweet little one. |

| welcome to YT, your soon to be little girl is beautiful, sorry I can't answer your question "will she stay looking like a puppy for life keeping that shorter nose" you use the word "adopt" are you adopting, rescuing or are you buying her?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hi and welcome to YT ! That baby is really adorable. As far as the nose - it's so hard to tell...the best thing to do is to look at the Mom/Dad and grandparents' noses to see what the nose may look like.

| Thanks Ladies! I call it adopt but yes, I do have to pay for her. I have watched rescue's for a long time. Then I found out the ones here only allow you to be within a certain mile range of the rescue. Which I am outside of. So I tried and I also researched so I am not supporting a mill or anything like that. I just love Yorkie's so much. They have a puppy kind of look for their life. At least that is what I call it. I realize they change with age but to me they stay puppy cuteness. |

| Welcome to YT! A good breeder keeps their pups until they are 12 weeks old before they sell/place them. The older they are the more you can assess their look. Others are correct about checking out the parents. Also be sure to pay attention to health issues in the contract you sign.
