Donating YT 10K Club Member | Wait for the tooth fairy or NOT????? Trace lost all his baby teeth except his canines. He had double (one behind the other). Now last week one baby canine was wiggly loose so hubby said just wait and sure enough that one came out. We keep checking the other, but it doesn't seem to be any looser than last week....should we wait awhile longer or go ahead and have it pulled. Btw, the adult canines hadn't popped through when he was neutered so that's why it didn't happen then. Also would they put him to sleep for ONE tooth? I don't mean I'd want them to pull it without something, but I really didn't want to have the anethesitic (sp?) for something that seems pretty minor. PS The tooth fairy traded 3 milk bones for the tooth

| How old is he? Hefner still has one canine we are waiting on at 16 months of age. I just paid $1200 to have Buddha's 7 retained teeth pulled and he is 15 months. I am working with my homeopathic vet to get Hefner's to fall out because I do not want to put him under for one tooth either. |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Trace is almost a year old. What are they suggesting to get it to fall out naturally? Although judging by your pup's age, seems like we have awhile we could wait.....

| Mollie still had her 2 upper baby canine teeth and she had them pulled when we had her spayed. I had asked the vet about it before we had to have her spayed and she said $100 would be the most it would cost us. I couldn't believe when I saw the $1200 I believe it was to have 7 pulled. Mollie was 1/2 years old and they were not lose at all. Her teeth were really starting to look bad so, I didn't want to wait any longer.
