Yorkie Yakker | Introducing new puppy to my 4yr old Yorkie Im getting a puppy Christmas Eve. Stressing on how Mylee will react. She has been our only girl for 4 years! She is somewhat spoiled, but I want her to have a sister. How can I make this go smoothly?

YT Addict | Well i would say walk them but if puppy dont have shots thats out. I would not leave them alone untill you see how they do together. If your older dog does not want to play like puppy does i would give her, her space. Let her be the one to start the play time. Every dog is different. She may just baby the new pup. I try to show special time to my older dog. But even at my best she still gets jeleous. If im loving on puppy and i see her looking back at me i make a point in loving her to. I have to watch my older girl cause shes biggera papilon. She tends to play to rough. |
