YT 500 Club Member | What is This Noise My friend came over and heard Sammie make the cough noise I was concerned about. She found this on youtube for me and this is not Sammie but this is the noise he makes after playing hard chasing the cat or daughter. Any ones pup does this or know what it could be. Thanks No its not kennel cough. He does it almost ever day for the last 3 months ?Chihuahua Puppy Nearly Coughs up a Hairball! - YouTube Last edited by mindy10; 11-15-2014 at 02:13 PM. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hard to say but could be something as simple as a dry throat while playing, or allergies, or something structural. Does he ever reverse sneeze?

YT 500 Club Member | No he has never reversed sneeze and I know exactly what that sounds like my shih tzu use to do it. He does have allergies. Itching all the time. Now that the cold weather is here he does itch much less. Just was curious if anyones dog makes that noise. |

| I'd ask my vet to watch that and see what he says.

| Gizmo does the same thing but only have playing too much. When he does do it, it might be once or twice in a row and then all gone. The vet does not seem to be concerned about it. |
