| Male Yorkie/Chi's peeing all over the house I have 2 Yorkie/Chi's...they are both over a year old and they keep lifting their leg all over the house even though they get let out at least 20 times a day...It is starting to piss me off...no pun intended....but I don't understand it..I am finding dried pee spots everywhere and fresh ones...On furniture, decorative boxes, doors etc ... They are not neutered and please don't tell me this is why they are doing this because I have several friends with male dogs who are and they do the same thing... Will this ever end...I am trying to renovate my house and it's gross finding pee all over... any suggestions... Thanks |

They are marking, which to a dog is different than peeing. I have no personal experience with stopping a dog from marking, but hopefully others will have some advice for you. | |

| No, it probably won't stop. I have 3 unneutered males, they do the same thing. My solution is to not let them have the run of the house, I keep them in the kitchen where I spend a lot of time also. There they have a puppy pad with a small milk jug to lift their legs on, but still mark other places. When I do let them in the rest of the house I use belly bands with nursing pads to absorb the pee. I would prefer to not have to use this, but this has saved my sanity and my furniture. |

| Before I had Giggy (3 years old) he was doing the same thing. After having him neutered, I have him one a schedule as to when he goes out side. He weighs 4 1/2 lbs. and I take him outside every 3 hours and before bed time at night. He's doing great with the potty training bit now. No more dragging out the carpet shampoer! |
