| Pita is obsessed!! My daughter and her fiance are moving into our guest house until their house is built and they have set up their tanks for their lizards and frogs in our house. This is driving Pita mad!! She will not stop sitting in front of the lizard tank even tho he just sits on his heat rock. The frog was doing his morning routine and that just drove her nuts! She just sits and watches and if I or anyone else go in there she will start barking and scratching at the tanks like OMIGOD do you believe what is in there??? It was comical at first but now I'm a little concerned cuz she doesn't want to do anything else. She won't even eat. I am hoping the novelty will wear off. I have had tried shutting her out of the room but she just sits by the door. She had this same fascination with our Beta fish for awhile but she got over that. I'm hoping she gets over this too. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I'm afraid she will wear herself out.

| My cat used to sit and watch my hamster constantly. She gave 2 hamsters heart attacks just by watching them. And she never got over it.

| That is so funny!! And here I thought it was just my Nikko that was the nosiest little guy. God forbid he sees a fly, he becomes obsessed with it. You can yell his name until you are blue in the face and he will completely ignore you.

| No, pitching them is not an option LOL... sorry bout your shoulder...try some Emu oil. They are really set up nice in big tanks and all that, all the better for viewing. There are 4 altogether, two on top and two on bottom and the bottom ones are perfect Yorkie height. Pita has them all hiding now. She can't even see them but she's on guard, waiting....hopefully she won't stress them out too much. Every once in a while she comes to get me like "Timmy's in the Well!!" I'm not sure what she wants me to do. I certainly am not going to take them out of the tanks... you probably don't remember, but i showed her a baby kitten once and she bit it's ear off!! She's too much... I hope she gets a grip on herself soon!

| My mom decided to yorkiesit my aunt's yorkies for a few weeks but she didn't know that one of the doggies, Mischa was going to be so fascinated with her cockatiel...She would bark at you to come and let her near the bird and do circles trying to get us to let her at my mom's cockatiel, she was a total nutcase! Well, we gated off the area that the cockatiel is in (her cage is open on top so she can go in and out of the cage as she pleases but she always stays in her play area). One day, Mischa was barking at the cockatiel so much that the birdie jumped out of her cage and was trying to fly away over the gate (of course with clipped wings she couldn't go too far)...Mischa grabbed her and started shaking her around!!! Poor cockatiel, she wouldn't let go of her and then everyone was yelling so she dropped the bird, but then she lunged for it again! Thank God the cockatiel ended up being alright in the end! I'm not sure if she thought the cockatiel was a toy or what, but it sure was scary!
