| Yikes....Petunia Pig (aka Summer) is getting fat Hi there. I can't believe it. I am a fanatic about weight on my pets as I know it causes the same health problems for them as for us humans. Well, miss piggy here has managed to pack on 1.4lbs since being spayed in August. I don't give treats except carrots so will be cutting her food back a tiny bit to balance her out again. I just have a question. I sometimes will cook up a boneless chicken breast for the two of them when we have it for dinner. Does anyone home cook who would know how much she should be given for a portion? She weighed 8.6 when I got her when her puppies were 6 weeks old and she is now 10lbs. |

| I home cook and my Jada doesn't eat chicken, but her daily portion of turkey is 23 grams, but that is in conjunction with the pasta and veggies that make up her recipe. I buy her recipes from www.petdiets.com This particular diet is a modified calorie diet for when Jada needs to lose a few ounces (she gains weight so easily) edit to add...Jada weighs 5lbs 10ozs

| Thanks Michelle. I cooked some chicken, rice and veggies tonight for a treat so will have to be careful how much she gets. |
