| Zoey chasing tail Why is she doing this?? Had two teeth pulled today, a booster shot , and microchipped. She is eating ok and now more recently playing fetch ...took 3 short naps earlier but can't stop chasing her tail! Between that and licking front feet she is soooo fidgety. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Did she get the shot toward the back of her body? If so, I wonder if that's why she's chasing her back end...? Is her little butt okay...no irritation?

| Yes, left rear side I guess is what she pointed out. No signs of swelling or irritation. Plus she is constantly licking. So much i had to hold her little front paws and shhhhhhhh her to sooth and she just fell asleep exhausted . Her big eyes weren't so big yesterday...I had to put her pjs on her last night to cover her . That helped, but she is back to licking this am.....do you think that helps sooth the pulled teeth area? Her puppy fangs had to be pulled.or do you think she feels that micro chip?? Ewww |

| I don't think she feels the micro chip... I heard some pups do it when they're anxious/nervous. Maybe you should keep her pjs on till she settles bit more? |

| Ohhhhh yehhhh After her breakfast she was still a little sluggish and paranoid so we settled into an easy chair and both of us still in pjs and she took a two hour nap! ( SHE did ...I sat frozen afraid to move and wake her she's so skittish, but there's nothin like the comfort of mama when your not feeling good) When she woke she was more easy to distract and she felt like fetch and playing and a mini face wash and head brush......and of course her piano. She wanted to eat again in 4 hours so be it...now nap time again... She still jerks her head around at her tail like someone is grabbing it..once in a while....I did a flea check...none. She brings her ball back better than before....before her teeth were pulled she just wanted to chew it. Glad that's over! |

| Happy to hear the day at the vet went well and that she is recovering. Hopefully she is just feeling a little quirky and the tail chasing will stop.
