| We just had a scare! My heart is still racing. Some people need to be better pet owners. We were on our morning walk around the neighborhood and some big black dog comes up outta nowhere growling and snarling at my little guys. I screamed and blocked the dog with my leg, which hurt. Luckily the dog was wearing a harness so I grabbed it and pulled him away. The owner came up and apologized, I was so stunned I didn't know what to say, I just said watch your dog. I was so scared in that moment. My poor little babies. Chibi acted all tough but poor little Molli went flat and I had to carry her back to the house she was trembling. I don't know what I would do without my babies. If that dog had bit one of them...so much could have happened. It's a good reminder though to alway pay attention while out on walk, you never know when some idiot will let their aggressive dog loose. I am so glad nothing happened but on the verge of tears just thinking about what could have happened. I'm hugging my little ones a little tighter today.

| so glad you reacted quickly and nothing serious happened. this is my worse fear as we run into unleashed dogs all the time. the coupler and buddy belts have been my best friend in time of having to quickly pull them up off the ground.

| Very scary! I am glad you and your babies were not harmed. Loose dogs are my biggest fear.

| I know how scary that is to encounter dogs unleashed. I was walking my German Shepherd and was just going to pass by a house when out of their yard 2 Rotties come charging, barking. They didn't leave their property and I quietly made an about face and walked slowly back home. I still remember even these years later how scared I was that they would attack. Thank goodness you and your pups are ok.

| That is very scary, I´m glad everybody is safe and it was just a scare. I remember a few years back I was at the vet´s office and someone came with a chi dog that had been attack in the very same manner, poor guy didn´t make it, he arrived dead. I still remember the horrible scream her owner made when they told her, it was horrible. Owners really need to be more responsible of their pets!

| Been there twice with my girl now past, she was soooo traumatized, she was a timid girl, I was so scared and near tears, I know just how you feel. I am always looking over my shoulder when I walk Cody, I am terrified to walk him, but I do it anyway. I hope he doesn't sense my terror. His nose is always sniffing, hope that distracts him from my fear. I live in a heavily wooded area, so my eyes are always darting around, So glad you and the babies are ok.

| Oh my! I am so glad that you are all ok. I just do not understand people that think it is ok to let their dogs off leash because they think that their dog is obedient. |

| Glad you acted confidently and quickly and were able to stop a tragedy-in-the making because if that dog had gotten to one of your little ones, you'd likely be in Vet ER right now - crying and praying. Thank God is all ended well and your babies are safe. That's the trouble with walks - stray, aggressive dogs of idiot owners.

| So glad everyone is ok! I hate when that happens & it's happened too many x's...& these bigger dogs are so fast. Their nose is already on them, even b4 I'm able to pick one up. I hope yours' won't have a fear of other dogs, I need to deal w/it everyday for poor Turbo.

| Glad they're ok I hate walking around the neighborhood because the loose dogs or dogs jumping the fences I'm glad I can walk near the business roads where there's no houses or dogs. |

YT 2000 Club Member | dog You should always carry something in case another dog does attack. Get some kind of spray . I thought Cabelas sold some bear spray. Find something to repel an animal. I carry stuff that is like mace and it will stop an animal. Some people carry big sticks or something. Otherwise you are very vulnerable. I think all women should carry something to protect themselves and also for the dogs in case of attack. Can't be too careful today. |
