YT 500 Club Member | Black Stool Not what I want to be talking about so early in the morning is stool!! Well Sammie has had black stool. I dropped off a sample to the vet this morning. Praying it is not blood. I did change his food to a beef buffalo meat and it has blueberries and spinach in it. Do you think that could be why it is black. Not black all the way through just the top part is black. Thanks |

| Yes, I could be blueberries and spinach, since it is high in iron. But, it is good that you took the sample to the vet just in case.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Could be just the food change, hopefully that's all it is...but keep us posted. Fingers and paws crossed!

| Hope it's the new food. We worry so much about our babies. Let us know what the vet says.
