| Have 4 yr old female Yorkie.....bringing new male puppy home tomorrow Hi everyone, We have Lillie, a 4 yr old female Yorkie who has been spayed and never had puppies. We bought her when she was a puppy and have always had just her for our family pet. She is an indoor dog and learned potty training to go outside fairly quickly. She is a well behaved dog that has never misbehaved. She has never chewed anything up, etc. We have decided to buy a male Yorkie puppy. We are picking him up from the breeder tomorrow. We are wondering how Lillie will adjust to this newest member of our family. Is there anything we can do to help Lillie adjust to and like the new pup. Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated. This is a first for us and will be a big transition for us. We want it to be a positive and smooth transition. Thank you!!! | Hi Terri, welcome to YT! Congratulations on your new little one! How is Lillie with other dogs, has she been around them much? Try to give her extra attention so she knows she's still #1 in your eyes. Good luck with your new addition!

| My dogs kept sniffing around Abby- I gave them all baths one after another and they seemed to settle in a little. I bought an IRIS 36" tall expen for Abby and that really helped when everyone needed their own space. Good Luck! |

| Welcome to YT! I got another Yorkie after having my Diva whom I also got as a puppy and she's now 6. She too has been such a joy and perfect pet. She and I communicate so well, it's scary. Now I have another Yorkie, Ruby, who is feisty and active and Diva wants no part of her. It's been 2.5 weeks and Diva continues to ignore her or if Ruby approaches her, she runs away. I'm hoping Diva and Ruby can forge a relationship soon. Ruby follows Diva and Miss Diva wants no part of her. Fortunately she's not aggressive toward her, but I hoping they can interact on a friendly basis soon. Good luck to you!
