| Poop eater Hey guys, I have a little female Biewer she was 1 year old in May. All of my dogs have eaten their poop when they were puppies at one time of the other. But this female Lola, still EATS her poop. It drives me crazy! I do make sure that I pick up her poop when I see it, but sometimes she will go do it somewhere where I cannot see her and she will eat it. Does anyone have any tips or advice? I have tried that stuff from petsmart to put in her food, but she will not eat it if I use it. I have 3 other yorkies, and they also will not eat their food if I put that stuff in it. Thanks! |

| Hi! I understand your frustration. Hey, we love them, but this stinky habit got to go. Here is some are some alternatives that work for some dog owners: 1. Add two to four tablespoons of canned pumpkin to the food bowl each day. Pumpkin apparently tastes good in food, but repugnant when expelled in excrement. 2. Add a spoon (teaspoon or tablespoon depending on the dog's size) of canned pineapple, pineapple juice or spinach to the dog's food. 3. Add some meat tenderizer or MSG to the dog's food. 4. Coat stools, following elimination, with hot sauce or lemon juice. Or booby trap sample stools by penetrating some left in the yard with hot sauce. **I got these suggestions from this website.** |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | What worked for us immediately when Wylie was a puppy was Solid Gold's S.E.P. (Stop Eating Poop)...so I would highly recommend it.

| I'm no help, but I once had a pup that would eat it's poo and then vomit it up. It was easily the most disgusting thing on the face of the planet. Thankfully, I was able to place that pup with a woman who did wonders training him ( he was a boston/beagle mix, and not very smart...lol). |
