| how to introduce a new puppy Lexi is only 8 months old and we will be bringing in a new puppy in a couple weeks. I have heard it is best to introduce them at a neutral location, but that will not be possible. I was thinking of putting the new pup in a crate at first to let Lexi sniff and get used to for a few minutes. Never done this before so just wanted to see if anyone had any advice! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I always introduced my new kiddos right in my home, since that's where they'll be living...it has always gone super well. I think your idea of the crate to get some sniffing out of the way is a really good one!
