| Help! Boy or Girl... I was told this maltese/yorkie mix was a girl. (Regardless of sex I was taking this baby home). However, upon closer inspection, i'm wondering if this baby is a boy? LOL. I'm very confused. "She" has her first visit with my vet on Monday so I can find out then, but until then, I don't know whether to continue calling her by her "girl" name or not. I can get another pic if needed... |

lol... I remember when I got my girl, I thought the same things.... never had a dog before and I started looking at pictures online to find out. A girl's "parts" do stick out and she just has hair growing on it. If you look at it carefully and touch it you will see a slit on it. | |

| Welcome to YT,and congrats on your new lil baby.Agree, after having 7 baby girls (last 4 were yorkies) it's a baby girl you have. Now what is baby girls name, and although the attached pic is cute can we get a photo of the other end, the end that has the eyes lol.

| LOL!!!! My parents and I were in similar situation when we brought Zoey home. I actually called the breeder and said "umm.. I'm sorry but I think we brought the boy by mistake..." He laughed and said "no, you have the girl.. it just seems that way b/c it has hair on it.." I was so embarassed. Anyway... since we got to see her... private area first, can we see the other half of her? ROFL |

| LOL, thank you ALL for the reassurance. I would love this baby no matter what but knowing it is for sure a girl is comforting haha. I've had girl puppies before but i suppose they didn't have hair on their...erm...chi chi's. Her name is Tilly Ocean (my son came up with Ocean :P) and we call her Tilly. I'll probably be posting tons of pics because she is super precious. I'm on my phone atm and cant figure out pics from here. Im also trying to drink a gallon of coffee...id forgotten how much puppies are like newborn humans...hehe! Thanks again everyone. I really appreciate it, especially because im sure you get these kinds of posts a lot. I hate that my first post contained a question! Im very grateful. Ill be back! Im so excited for you to see her. |
