| Hello Hello everyone! My wife and I are new Yorkie owners. We have a 12 week old male, his name is Buddy. We have had him for a week now and all is going well. The vet gave him a clean bill of health and we could not be happier. This seems to be a great forum with lots of great info. Most every question I had was easily answered with a search. We appreciate all the great information. One question I have is, when I click on a thumbnail, instead of seeing the photo enlarged, it goes to a different page with links to photo galleries. I use google chrome so I'm not sure if that is an issue or not. Thanks again! Last edited by Hill202; 08-08-2014 at 06:52 AM. Reason: punctuation |

| I'm trying to post a pic but I can not get Lightroom to resize a photo to 200kb. I'll have to post one in my gallery. Thanks for the welcome. |

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk and congratulations on the new addition to you life. Looking forward to seeing photos of Buddy. When you click on a thumbnail of a photo posted in the forum, it does open a new page/browser window with the photo enlarged (for me it does in all browsers on both PC and Mac). In Lightroom, try resizing the photo by pixel/canvas size. Most camera devices are set to take photos that are huge (i.e. 1200px x 1200px). I usually downsize 30% to post to Yorkie Talk.

When I click on the thumbnails, a new page opens but there's not a picture. I'm sure it is something on this computer. I'll figure it out. | |

| Thanks for the tips. The smallest I could get them in Lightroom was 425kb. I'll have to change some camera settings. |

| Welcome to YT! When I click on thumbnails in chrome it just opens a new window to enlarge the photo, so I'm not sure what page you're getting.

Adobe Lightroom's Equivalent of "Save For Web" - Photo Tips @ Earthbound Light You can also download free editors like GIMP to resize photos.

| I had that problem also with google chrome. It was my ad blocker, when I disabled it I was able to see the picture enlarged. |

| Buddy is very cute!!! I think I see green as the eye color from the flash of your camera which if I'm not mistaken means he is supposed to have a silky coat.
