YorkieTalk Newbie! | New Yorkie lover Hi, I just purchased a yorkie girl at 8 weeks at 22oz. Her mother weigh 5lbs & dad weigh 3lbs The breeder said she weigh this much now Because she had been regular feeding and was Still latching to mom. Is this normal?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Are you asking if her current weight is normal? If that's what you're asking, I'd say yes - her weight seems fine for this age. Is she eating okay now that you have her home?

YorkieTalk Newbie! | Yes. That's what I was aking. And she is eating quite well, the breeder had her on Pedigree canned for chopped chicken & puppy chow. Is this a healthy blend for her or should I get blue buffalo or Eukanuba
