| Do you put leather protecter on your buddy belts? I just received my first buddy belt.. and I love it!! I couldn't resist to try it out and take Chloe for a walk in it I know it says on the website to treat it with water/stain repellant.. do you do it? I'm probably going to buy 1 tomorrow.. I couldn't wait until tomorrow to try it out though, lol.

| My boys have never needed the protectors, but some dogs do like them while breaking in some of the BB colors. Max and Teddy have all of their chest/arm hair, so maybe that has something to do with it. Their primary BB is the Classic Black, which is a little stiffer when new. They are really soft now with use. I have never treated my boys' BB with anything, although BB recommends it. We use them in the rain and snow and never had a problem. Just be sure to lay it flat to dry and don't put it near a heat source. Leather will shrink if subjected to heat, like in the back window of a car or a on a radiator.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I have 5 BBs and I never have put protector on them, and they've worn beautifully! They will last forever.

| I haven't used leather protector on any of mine, and most of them have been great. I should probably have used something on one of my patent snakeskin ones, which is showing signs of wear (the only one of the six I have). Even knowing that, I purchased the Candy Apple one that's like that one, and will look into protectors for that one. I am considering repurchasing the one that is showing signs of wear because I love it so much. I think they are very well made and the leather is beautiful. Enjoy it.

| I need to find out if I can get duplicates of Joni's rabies tag. I would like another BB but I know i would never move the tag over. |

The only other option would be a holder clip that is easier to transfer than those little rings. I know these can be bulky on really small dogs though.

I love these! Very cute and practical. I got the fairy dust buddy belt and I'm really loving it! I got the harness from the Toronto warehouse and the matching leash from funnyfur. The only thing I would say is that Chloe is biting it every time I put it on and for all that money I spent I really wish she wouldn't. Anyone else have this problem? She did this with her other harness too but that was a cheapie one and I didn't care. I'm thinking to start training her a trick to just put her legs in but she's really feisty for her little size!! She wants it her way or no way, lol.

| My three have the heart rhinestone for their tags. Easy to use and very safe. Nothing will come off of these things!

| They also have the BB's and I've never put anything on them. Three we have used for 6 or 7 years and one for 2 years. They are perfect to this day! I'm thinking of getting the white ones. They have the light pink with crystals. Love them!
