YT 500 Club Member | Loves To Dig Does Yours Sammi loves to dig holes in my yard. I didn't realize yorkies liked to dig. Boy she digs more than my 60 pound German Shepard did. Does yours dig? |

| Mine likes to bury chews. You have no idea how dirty she has come in before chunks of dirt all over her face from sticking her whole face in the hole and extremely muddy paws and legs. It's not a crappy burying either it's a complete hole and cover up. Her favorite time to do this tends to be when company is coming over.

| If Callie can't take her chew outside she wants to bury she will walk around the house crying.

| Tibbe only digs in the covers and among the pillows and things but just to get his bedding right or to hide something. He's not interested in digging outside at all - maybe because he doesn't have much access to actual dirt - only grass.

| My last girl would take her chews and rope toys, dig hole bury them, undig, rebury in another hole, she would do this for hours, then would want to bring the nasty things back in the house, so she had inside toys not allowed to go out, and out side toys not allowed back in the house. She LOVED digging and burying, how I miss that lil girl.

| Gina and I play a game where I put my hands under the feather comforter, then digs and digs and digs, she loves it, she'll keep digging till she gets my hand but I move them a lot. She also digs bed up off the crate floor looking for any kibble she has hidden there. Thankfully no digging outside. Cheers Quad & Gina

| Hey Im new here, learnt so much already reading through all the posts! Ive had wee lola for a week, she is 11 weeks old & digs like mad outside, she jumps at flys etc to try catch them, have to make sure there are no slugs at night cos she goes for them, she chews on grass all the time & sticks! Worried she will get sick from it! Is this normal behaviour??? She has plenty chew toys aswell which she does chew on & I encourage her to chew on those instead of everything else in sight! lol! Puppies are just like crawling babies and the house/yard have to be puppy-proofed and you must absolutely watch them like hawks to prevent them from getting into all kinds of trouble! Good luck!

| Scooter tries and tries to dig outside in the mulch but either he's not strong enough or he's doing something wrong because after many, many minutes of furious digging he's only dug down maybe a few inches at most.
