| I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much it hurts since I lost my first yorkie at the age of 16 also.

Does your husband say "no more dogs", is that what you mean? Maybe over time, he will ease up on this feeling...do you think? I hope you will someday be able to get another yorkie to fill up your heart.

| I'm so sorry for your loss. It is very, very hard to lose a pet, as they are part of our families. Last summer, we lost our beloved Pearl, our American Pit Bull. She was an amazing dog and part of our lives. My kids' first dog, our most loyal pet ever. It took a while to get used to the idea, but having just gotten him, Sheldon is helping mend our hearts. My sympathies to you and I hope you heal quickly. |

| I am so sorry for your loss. It has been 16 months since my Charlie died. I have 2 other yorkies now and love them dearly, but I will always miss Charlie. I totally understand your need to express this. When you are ready, I would love to hear about your Ellie. Sometimes sharing stories about their lives and antics helps.

| I'm very sorry for your loss. You have come to the right place since most people here understand how deep your loss is. My last little girl, Ashley, lived one month shy of seventeen. I lost her two sisters a few years before, and I still found it difficult coping without them. There comes a time that the beautiful, happy moments you have of Ellie will overpower the sad ones you are now feeling. After two lonely years, Katie joined our lives and has filled our hearts with such love and happiness. I hope someday you can open your heart again to another little one. Please continue to share with us about Ellie. We care and understand.

| Tesswood, you have come to a forum where folks here understand the struggle with losing one of the dearest living things in our lives. Many here have experienced this struggle and pain and know hoe hard it can be. Clearly your love was great - meaning you were a devoted Yorkie mom. Revel in your memories of your dear one. I could tell you it gets better with time, but that is often hard to see when you are in the midst of the grieving process. I see that you are a new member - Keep reaching out to those who care and know about this feeling you are living. We know it is hard. Wishing you the best

| Sorry for your loss. It's so hard to lose a beloved little one. Most here have probably felt the same pain, so know we understand. I hope in time you will be able to share your home with another little one. You must have been a very good and loving Yorkie Mom. |
