Not to say that some day I'd love to have a very well bred Yorkie. After all these years I do know just where I'd start to look. It's good to have friends that are very reputable breeders who I could turn to if and when I decide to add another some time in the future.

| $700 for Gina, her breeder has done genetic testing on all 3 females and the male she studs with. Gina is in excellent health has limited AKC papers but I never sent them in. She is a wonderful, sweet, and very scary smart girl, and I would recommend my breeder to anyone who might be interested. Gina was bought as a pet, and future service dog for me, she is exceding all expectations. Cheers Quad & Gina

| Rosie was free from my SIL. Mikki was $50 and she was a rehome. My new addition Lily was $1000 from a breeder. You can find Yorkies in my area for around $300-$400 but I can guarantee they are from a Byb. Sadly, we have many many byb's in my area. I searched and searched to find a breeder that was good in my area. Lots of scams around too!

| I paid $600 for Gizmo. Knowing what I have read on YT I know he was a byb who was referred to me by my neighbor. My neighbor has Gizmo's half brother and she had some issues when he was younger, he's now 1 yr old. Her dog started having issues after I got Gizmo. I did see the mom and dad and Gizmo is hyper just like his dad. I think I have been lucky with Gizmo. He had mites when we picked him up and he has had crystals, but I don't think any of those are something to blame on the breeder. I think I have been lucky with Gizmo and pray he will stay healthy. I didn't do any research before I got him, but I now know what to look for if I ever decide to get him a sister thanks to YT! |

| I didn't pay anything for my dog but I paid $2500. for a breeder that had over 20 years of breeding experience, breeds to show and better the breed, is a member of YTCA, is and AKC breeder of merit. I also paid for her many years of research and testing, her care of her animals and the education she shared with me and all of the families she chooses. My pup is just a pet, she is pretty but I understand she is not any prettier than most. I am more interested in what is under her beautiful coat and I am hopeful that her breeder had a good idea so I can have fewer surprises. I don't like surprises. |

| Interesting question. I got Cali, a proven show quality Yorkie, about 5 years ago when she was about 10 months old and being successfully shown. They only reason I got her was because the breeder who shows did not think she would make the 5 pounds for breeding and once you go to the trouble and expense of getting a champion you want to breed them to get you next champion. But here is what just hit me -- I don't remember at all what I paid for her, because I have never ever given that a thought since the day she came home to me. In fact I probably would have paid more if I had just known how great she was going to be. I know she was not cheap because I wanted a show quality, very healthy, example of the breed, but at this point i would have to go back to my checkbook and look.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | i paid 2500 for Winnie i was a little bit disappointed when the vet told me she might have to have operation on the hernias on her stomach and her breeder should of told me this. But now she is doing great and dosent need surgery at all |

| $400 for my Pixi. I got her from a family that were having kids and didn't have time for her. I got her full set of vet records. Excellent care taken of her and she is very healthy still.... I'm about to spent between $1600 and $2500 depending on what one of two breeders have a little one that works for me! So excited!!!!

Although, he technically is tiny, just not for his age and probably won't stay that way. | |
