| Eating. Grass Rosie is driving me crazy eating grass!! She eats it then will end up throwing up. Any of you have this problem? How do you get them to stop? She does it so fast! As soon as I see her I pick her up. We only go in the grass to potty. But here lately she eats grass every time! Any suggestions?

| Zoey eats grass and then throws up if her tummy is empty. I don't let her out until she has eaten. Her face stinks so much after this barf binge that I call her puke face. I have to scrub her face , neck and legs to get the stink off. I wish she would stop this.

| All our dogs graze on grass in the spring and summer but they don't throw up. There's only been a few times where I could TELL Jackson's tummy was actually upset because he quickly just scarfs as much grass as he possibly can and you can tell he tries to make himself puke. He's only done this like 3 times in his life though. The rest of the time he just seems to enjoy munching on grass like a cow.

| Zoey eats grass every time we go out on walks. Drives me nuts and I can't stop her either for the same reasons as you guys. Fast little buggers! Fortunately, she doesn't throw up unless she ate it when her tummy was empty. |

| Lexi nibbles on grass here and there and has never had a problem. The only time I have to watch her is after my husband mows. He doesn't bag the clippings and sometimes there are chunks of grass clippings in the yard. Lexi will grab a big mouthful of grass clippings and I have to get it out of her mouth so she doesn't try to eat it all or choke on it. |

So apart from her being sick when she's eaten the grass - is everything ok with her tummy otherwise? xx

| both of my dogs eat grass when their tummies are upset and I let them because they otherwise dont eat the grass. I have a male yorkie and a female s**t-zhu. I just make sure the grass they are eating doesnt have any poop or other stuff on it. my yorkie pukes it up and then he is good to go , my s**t-zhu poo poos it out and she is fine then |

| Our Tazi likes to munch on grass, or just about any other plant/leaf she can get a hold of. Of coarse, this results in occasionally puking and angst on our part. After she's done pukoing, within 30 seconds she back to full speed ahead! Still haven't figured out how to stop her, but at least she mostly leaves the indoor plants alone now. |

| Poor Rosie's tummy. Max and Teddy eat grass for no reason. Drives me nuts because they hack when they swallow a blade of it. They do not throw up, however. It passes through them. Teddy grabs grass when he is excited by a truck or motorcycle on our walks.

YT 500 Club Member | After reading a little about it. Eating grass can be associated with Pica. You know when people eat stuff of no nutritional value. Sometimes people develop it when they are pregnant. They like to eat dirt and chalk and corn starch... |
