| How many yorkies with tails on here? My newest little one doesn't have her tail dock and I love it. My first one had her tail docked and I loved it too. At first when I adopted Dutch, I wasn't sure how I felt about her tail not being docked but now I think it is so adorable on her. It fits her very mischievous personality (definitely a little stinker). Actually there have been quite a few people that have stopped me on our walks and commented how they have never seen a yorkie with a tail. At night she is so funny. Now that we have a nightly routine she does the cutest thing. She does not sleep in the bed with me yet until she learns to stop chasing the cat around the house (Im trying to break her of that very bad habit). So at night she sleeps in her expen in my bedroom. Okay here's the funny part.....when it is time to go to bed, she jumps on my bed and basically lays flat like if she is flat enough she will blend in with the bed spread and I won't see her. The she looks up at me with the saddest puppy dogs eyes you have ever seen. She is starting to do this every night now. Some night she rolls on her back and just lays there like a little rag doll. She is giving it her best shot. She is hoping that one day I will change my mind and let her sleep with me which I will. I told her as soon as she learns to leave the cat alone she will get more freedom and she gave me that "awww mom" look. |

| I don't have a Yorkie, but I'm getting a Biewer. One of the draws for me is that they don't have docked tails. I love tails...lol. |

| Lola has a full tail and it's amazing, she carries it up over her back and it cascades down over her body, she looks more like a yorkie but is mixed with pom. I have to admit since I always had purebreds from show breeders my other pups tails were docked so when I got Lola at 4 months I was not loving the tail, I was almost horrified by it, but now I think if I ever have to get another pup it will have a full tail. Also not all breeders dock the tail properly, too many of the backyard non show breeder types tend to take way to much of it off. All my other pups did have a tail about 3" but my sister's yorkie is cut almost down to the butt and I have seen that alot

That's how I was feeling, I wasn't to sure about the tail but then I realized it was only because I was used to docked tails. Well now I have a yorkie with a full tail and I am just loving it. One of the things I am surprised about is how much I love her already. I have to admit, when I first brought her home I thought it was too soon after my Brandi passed away. It had bee six months since she passed and for the first week or two I think I was feeling guilty about getting another yorkie so soon. Almost like I was dishonoring her but Dutch would just wiggle her tail and I slowly came around and now I am totally in love. She worked her yorkie magic on me. I had to realized I wasn't replacing Brandi. SHe could never be replaced. I still have her ashes and a lock of her hair and I sort of introduced Dutch to Brandi by letting her smell her hair.. | I love the full tails. Unfortunately my Yorkie Tiki's tail is docked and is too short, so I let the hair grow out enough to give her a lil pom-pom to shake. My 2 Morkies have full tails, and I really love them. They are so expressive, and like lovely plumes that they carry up and over their backs.

YT 500 Club Member | My Yorkie tail was dock. At first when I first got my Yorkie, I didn't really know much about the breed because I wanted another Maltese. But one day I you tubed how the dock the tails and I was devastated. It look soooo painful. I wish she still had her tail because the thought of her going through that mad me sad for her. |

| Bentley has his full tail and we love it! It has that curve at the end looping over his torso, and when his hair gets long it has a feathered look |
