| Buddy Belts. I hear great things about them! Does anyone have a USED one for sale? They are a bit pricey. Looking to buy two. Size 3 and size 4. I have no idea how to find used things for sale on this site. :/ |

YT 2000 Club Member | dog I got a buddy belt and it was rubbing under Spud's arms. So I sent it back. I use a Puppia harness but instead of connecting his leash to the round silver thing on the back, I hook it to the side on one of the straps. Then I pull him from the side and not on the throat. It keeps him from coughing. Try this, it works so well you may not need to buy the buddy belt. |

| Did you check eBay? They don't always have them at low prices, but it's worth a look. I bought two.

| If you can't find one for a cheaper price, I would still encourage you to invest in one! They are great IMO

| I love Buddy Belts. I know they are pricey, but they will last a long time. You might want to consider a Buddy Belt 2, which are synthetic leather and less expensive than the leather ones. I buy all of my Buddy Belts from Kristin, YT member Maximo. She is exceptional to deal with and can help you find the right size. Buddy Belt Harness Another option is Choke Free harnesses that member L'il Sis sells. Shinja is also wonderful. These are also excellent harnesses. They aren't as adjustable as Buddy Belt, but they are also very nice and much more affordable. | I don't buy expensive things unless it's truly above cheaper versions in quality, comfort, or safety. The buddy belt meets all 3 criteria. I also think it's worth spending a bit extra to get one of the super soft leathers, like knight. The main reason I bought one is I have my dog in the car a lot and I saw videos of "car" harnesses failing, usually the plastic clips slide out of place or broke. The buddy belt is leather and heavy metal so it's unlikely to fail. I also bought it because of stories about people yanking their dog up by the BB without it getting hurt. I'd rather spend $50 on a safer harness that should last most of my dogs life than $20+ for a nylon one at petsmart that I'll need to replace in 2-3 years. |

| This past spring Buddy Belt came out with the Buddy Belt 2,faux leather. They are not quite as expensive. I purchased a size 2 leather BB recently for Tilly. I did search all over for one less expensive. UM no,didnt happen. I have 3 girls, they all wear the BB. We travel a lot and they wear them tethered to their carseats. BB fits over or under their clothes. W.Fields sells BB and BB2. |

| Both of mine wear Buddy Belts. Bubba has the classic black and then I got Sissy the Venom from Kristen. They fit perfectly and people at the dog park have commented on how nice they looked.

| Every time I take Katie to the vet the vet techs comment on her Buddy Belts. They are very safe, keep their tracheas safe, and very pretty. I like the soft colors also. Katie's Cocoa is very soft, and so are Katie's Knight, Candy Apple, and Venom Buddy Belts.

Zo now has a short summer cut for the first time ever (she's three and a half), so I was just thinking of trying the BB again to see how it does. I do like the look of it.
