| Hi! I'm new. (Kind of.) I registered in 2012 when I got a Yorkie/Shih-Tzu mix pup who has now grown into the ruler of the house. Hey name is Maddie. I also have a 4 year old Bichon/Poodle mix named Cooper. In a little over a month, I am adding a new baby. She's a full breed Yorkie. I can't decide on her name (Shelby? Harper?) but I do have a question. I know Nutrical is something that should be on hand. However, after searching Tractor Supply and the local PetSmart, all I could find was Puppy-Vite by Nutrivet. Is that okay? And just for the first 2 weeks or so, should I give her a little bit? The calorie count is 450 per 100 grams. I noticed that's more than the Nutrical. Anyway, thank you! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hi and welcome to YT ! Glad you posted, and CONGRATS on your almost new baby. I *love* the name Harper, I think that's be super cute. Puppy Vite looks pretty similar to NutriCal, so I think you're good. When my dogs transitioned as puppies, I did give them Nutrical in the morning and at night before bed, just in case. They may not have needed it, but I like to use it prophylactically when they first get to their new home.

| I like Shelby. I gave it to my pup 2 times a day. I spoke to my vet and she said it would not hurt her it would just make her fat. I am a worry wart when it comes to Hannah!
