| I'd say she's old enough as long as the groomer has experience with young pups like her. If you're are wanting someone specific to groom them or just a general place like Petsmart, I'd ask them what their puppy age minimum is. It's like where I work, we'll cut any babies/kids hair as long as they can pretty much hold still for the most part, but some salons don't take them until certain ages, if at all. I plan to take my little yorkie (once I pick her up and feel she's ready for a groomer) to a specific groomer and will be asking her what's her minimal comfort range in handling puppies. I would suggest getting her used to be handled early on, so that it'll be easier in the long run.

Now she looks like a yorkie instead of a fur ball! We had them give her a puppy cut so most of the fur ball part came off. Previously we took her a couple of times just for a bath, nail cut, and ear cleaning so she could get used to the groomer and the noise of the salon.

YT 1000 Club Member | After shots are complete and when you get sick of dealing with a long coat. Rasta was 11 months when I finally cut his hair (at home). I just shaved his body. trying different cuts is fun!!! |
