YT 1000 Club Member | Parti/ Biewer Owners..... What do you use when you bathe your little ones? I've been speaking with a parti breeder and will probably acquire a little one in September. I thought about whitening shampoo like what I use on my white bulldog, but would that make her darker colors look dull??? Any input is appreciated! |

| Hi, congrats on your soon to be new puppy. How exciting! I have used whitening shampoo on both Leroy and Evie and I don't find that their other colors look dull. However, for Evie I have yet to find a whitening shampoo that works to get rid of her yellow stained coat. Unfortunately, when I got her the white part of her coat was stained yellow and it's gotten better but still stained. For Leroy, I use a whitening shampoo once in awhile and I mostly use the CC Spectrum 10 alternating with puppy shampoo and the white part of his coat is white.

| I use whitening shampoo on Cookie and it doesn't seem to affect her spots. She is a Maltese/Parti Yorkie though and she has tear stains but they don't really come out with the whitening shampoo. I don't mind the stains though. I think it'll be fine to use whitening shampoo |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I use a whitening shampoo on Pfeiffer and it doesn't dull her dark colors at all.

YT 1000 Club Member | Thank you everyone for the advice! I've narrowed it down to two breeders so I'm crossing my fingers. Oh! @ Leroy I use a white vinegar/baking soda paste to get the yellow stains off my bully. I do it as needed every week during bath time, leave it on for 5 mins while brushing, then rinse. |

Thank you for the suggestion. I might give it a try next time I bathe her. Do you just mix white vinegar with baking soda in a consistency of a paste?
