| My little girl is sick Little Sadie was listless, refusing to eat, drinking some water, then throwing it up. Taken to the vet, kidney problems dxed. She was hospitalized for dialysis x 3 days, now home on subQ fluids and meds. She refuses to eat, so I am giving her food with a syringe, about 1. 1/2 cc on the hour. It seems that I see more of the white of her eyes now. Any advise, suggestions, hope for my baby. Doesn't seem to be in pain. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hi and welcome to YT . I'm so sorry your girl is sick. What do you mean you're seeing more of the "whites of her eyes" - you mean her eyes are rolling back in her head? If so, you should get to the vet asap!

| Maybe the whites were yellow? How is your vet advising you regarding the care for your pup? Are you seeing a specialist? I hope things are improving, please let us know. Just so you know, your posts are delayed after you post them until you have 10 posts!

| You might want to ask your vet if perhaps she can take Mirtazapine. When they are in renal failure they have nausea....that med will help that and also could act to stimulate her appetite. I am sorry your pup is so ill.
