| Maybe a puppy in my near future? Wish me luck ^^ Ok, I have been getting funds together for my future yorkie when one of the more affordable options I currently have will be available soon (like next month). It'll be cutting it close but I'll be pulling the extra effort. I have a coworker who has a relative that breeds yorkies and that they'd have pups that were just born recently. He did warn me I'll be grilled/interviewed as they mentioned they don't just give them to anyone nor the first person that pays, no matter how much they offer to pay. Which I highly respect, but can't help but feel nervous ^^;; it's almost like a job interview (which in a way it kind of is, lol). The pics I saw of the mother and puppies were so cute XD and he said they should be around 7lb or so on average as adults, which was what I was looking for :3 It's ok if it's give or take, i don't mind a little chunkiness So I'm planning to try and get most, if not all, the "interviewing/approval" process ahead of time, cause I'll need to know for sure if I'll be able to get one from this breeder as I have to have everything ready and set up. So yea, I guess I'm nervous about not being approved X.x;; My mother suggests I show them pics of our previous yorkies ^^; which I'm sure that having previous experiences would be a plus. Ugh! The tensions XD lol

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Aww, how exciting for you !!! You sound just thrilled to possibly be owning a yorkie in your near future. I'm very impressed to hear of how your breeder is realllllly picky about where the puppies go, bc that shows they truly care about these precious ones, and that means a lot. Try not to be nervous, I'm sure it'll go great! Share your pics, talk about the good vet care / preventive care you provided your past kiddos, what you fed them, how you cared for them, how precious they were to you. To me, it sounds like if you speak from your heart - it will all come out really great!

| Thanks, I'm hoping ti goes well, too. lol my coworker told me that the fellow mentions he won't give his yorkies to households with small children (cause "they are too delicate"). I was like what about an occasional 8yr old? ^^; (me and my parents watch my niece often, especially over summer and she's a fairly disciplined child) and he said that sounded fine to him as he's thinking more along toddlers etc., but gonna see what the breeder says Also if I do get a pup, I'll have to fight with my mother about who this dogs actually belongs to, lol (she's gonna help puppysit when I'm at work) and she started talking about all this stuff she's gonna do with the pup and I was like... "uh, no ._." I figured, even if it doesn't work out, i do have other options and it doesn't hurt to have most of what i'll need ahead of time. The other thing we need to do is clear everything (mostly my nieces toys) as our Jacks are smart enough to not eat or mess with my nieces toys (not matter how small or scattered they are), but a puppy obviously has a bit of learning. ^^;

| OMG, omg!! I got her! (well not literally yet) Just got the call and the guy said the other lady may be willing to go with one of the boys and wanted to make sure I was still interested in the girl, I was like "YES!!" XD I'm practically bouncing, lol I had just got all the things I'll need while still waiting on stuff I've just ordered. It'll be a week or so before I'll be able to go pick her up XD *goes off to squee*

| lol thanks everyone ^^ granted I'm cutting it close right now, since the breeder said I could pick her up a little sooner than I originally expected (was thinking the end of july not around the early) Some of the key things I was needing to have ready such as the nutri-cal and the playpen has been ordered not too long ago and has yet to even be here X.x;;; and was hoping to have some more stuff sold off to have a bit of balanced money X.x;; lol but this is a tricky opportunity and I'm not passing it up. In general we actually do have all the basic necessities, but was hoping of the extras to ready ><; But yes will definitely have pictures! I have seen a pic of the mother and past puppies and oh they are adorable! I think the last pic of a bunch was the current ones (he mention four pups, 3 boys and a girl and there was four pups in the pic). It was funny too I was on my way home from the store and had gotten a new leash and harness (was trying hard to figure out what a good size to get for the pup X.x) when I got the call.

| Thanks :3 ugghh, just 3 more days to go! I ordered a cute pastel blue crate (they had pink but the playpen is pink and I prefer blue/purples and it'll match my room XD) and fluffy cushion. I keep thinking there's something else I need to get X.x; She's got everything (aside from her crate/pen) that she'll need... but now I'm thinking to buy one of those little shower hoses ^^;; she's gonna be so tiny, the regular shower hose in the bath is too big. X.x

| The crate/pen I wanted to use isn't home yet (I'm spazing X,x lol) my brother is giving me his old crate for temporary use (will also keep it for emergencies). I was so hoping to use the crate I got cause it's cute ^^;; my bro's crate is functional but not cute ><; lol I have ordered nutri-cal and am hoping it'll be in before I go get her X.x;; I got puppy pads, a soft bunny w/blanket toy, bringing water, ..oh yea and her harness/leash, so pretty much set to pick her up (just waiting on that nutri-cal X.x) I'm not sure how much she weighs now, only that by an estimate that she should weigh around 6lb (give or take). Talked to the breeder only a couple of times now and my coworker talked to them several times before and in between (it's his uncle who breeds them) and kept forgetting to ask little stuff like that, lol X.x Last i talked to him he was getting paperwork and registration done. I figured to wait for tomorrow to get more finer details since it's the 4th of July and I don't want to bother them since I'm sure they are having family time. She's gonna be almost 7 weeks when I pick her up, a little bit young I know X.x;, but I have two other girl dogs that will help her socialize and I'm pretty much gonna be by her side for a good several days. Will also take her to the vet within a day or two as well for her first visit/check up etc. She is gonna be seriously spoiled ^^
