Yorkie Yakker | Shaking with music Is it normal for a dog to shake and hide to the sound of music? I know dogs hear louder than us but I've had many dogs in my life and never had a pup shake and hide when you play loud music

| Sense there ears are so sensitive you really shouldn't be playing loud music with them in the room any way. I personally would hide too if I was that small.

| Bella seems oblivious to my Pink Floyd albums, but then again, I don't crank them up to insane volume... |

Yorkie Yakker | Well I'm not blasting the music just putting it to an enjoyable level to listen and dance. Just never seen any of my dogs do that before and I use to play the music a lot louder.

| Music I agree that the ears of dogs are much more sensitive than ours. My boy also reacts and is disturbed by particular music. He hates drums and certain notes, but is fine with others. It does not seem to be volume but frequency that he is sensitive to. For example he goes crazy with the doorbell tones at home or on the TV. However, the phone gets no reaction! My previous Yorkie was oblivious to all music! So they do react differently. I know on TV I have to be speedy with the mute button to prevent barking with certain tones. | Any chance your pup could have an ear infection that might make him more sensitive to some sounds. May need a vet check.

Yorkie Yakker | Lmao yes maybe it is the music because he goes I the car with us and we play music and he's always fine only today he started to shake but than again the car is differt from playin music in the house. No he has no ear infection he just went to the vet yesterday an he was all healthy. I think he just doesn't like loud music or that type of music.

| It could be the tone of the music. I have extremely sensitive ears and songs with a lot of base and sharp noises both me more than others. |

| Some dogs are just more sensitive to noises than other. There are noises that make my Jewels shake too. You can bet fourth of July will be a difficult day for him
