| New! Hi everyone! I'm new here and I just wanted to say hi but also ask a question. I have a yorkie chip he's about 4 pounds and he is my baby. I wanted to get him a companion and I found another yorkie although I believe she may be mixed. I don't really care because they are both happy and healthy. She is about 4 months old and already weighs about 5 pounds! I wanted to know if it's just me or does she look like a typical yorkie. I got chip when he was older so I never saw his transition from puppy to adult. I posted her picture below! Thanks! imgur: the simple image sharer imgur: the simple image sharer |

| Hi and welcome to YT! She does appear to look like a yorkie to me. Do you know what her mix is? I have two yorkies (soon to have three) and getting my second was one of the best things I did. I knew my Rosie had a playmate to keep her company when I'm gone. There is nothing better than hearing my girls playing and running through the house.

| welcome to yt! i agree she looks yorkie to me. I have three and they love to play and annoy each other. hehe. it may take some transition time but in the end I think they do enjoy having each other to be with.

| Thank you for the responses everyone! Her parents appear 100% yorkie and I did have a DNA test on her just to make sure all her needs were met and they came back saying she had on mix from her great grandparents on her dads side I believe but she was overall Yorkshire terrier, although I was told (the mix) could be an error. Anyway I love her to death and just wanted to get a better opinion since she is my first yorkie puppy! I posted another pic of her! imgur: the simple image sharer |

| Hi! Welcome! She looks darling to me! Around 5 months my purebred yorkie was probably around the size of yours. She slowed down a lot after that and now she is only 6.5 pounds. So your baby still might turn out small, and if she does get bigger, she'll still be adorable and full yorkie! |
