Yorkie Yakker | Healthy paws or trupanion So the past two weeks I've done a lot of research on pet insurance I'm between healthy paws and trupanion. More healthy ones since they are rated number one but wanted to know what you all have to say. Thank you! |

| Just be sure to read all the fine print. I know a few here use healthy pets......not super sure on the other.

Yorkie Yakker | Yes I've read everything on all the top insurances and the ones that really attract me are these two. For theporkieyorkie: have your monthly costs gone up because I read some reviews on other sites that they always raise the cost. I know they raise cost depending on the cost of vet care in your area but I've heard cases where when they have a dog that always has problems they raise the cost. Just wondering.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I have Healthy Paws and I like it bc of the way they do their annual deductibles...much preferred!

| I haven't been with healthy paws long enough to see an increase in costs, but I picked healthy paws over pet plan because one of the other members said pet plan kept raising rates on her and healthy paws hadn't done that to her. That was the deciding factor between the two for me. |

| I have Trupanion. I have not had to use it yet. The reason I chose it over the others is because my vet recommended it. His wife researched the top plans and decided they were the best. Maybe not the least expensive, but she really like the people who ran the company. |
