| Feisty little girl Fletcher met the wrong way! Yesterday we were getting packed up to leave our lake camp and an older gentleman with a young granddaughter are walking a small Yorkie. I was so excited to see another Yorkie. I went out to introduce myself and I showed him my boys who were in the car. Well I let them out, but Dex wants nothing to do with other dogs so he just stayed away. But my happy little Fletch went right up, wagging and sniffing and she ATTACKED him! He is 12lbs and she is 6lbs. We were trying to separate them fast.... no one could believe it! Neither pup was hurt at all, but the guy was gushing about how great of a dog she is and then that happened. He was surprised and said that's never happened before. Poor Fletch... LOL He just loves other dogs to play with and was probably shocked! He did go back at her though, so he's not a push over. He did not hurt her though. Bet you he wont' be walking by our place anymore now!

| Oh no! Glad no one was hurt. Poor Teddy has had many experiences like Fletch's. He wants to be friendly, but then the other dog attacks him. Some dogs just do not like each other. Max gets along with most dogs we meet, but there is a Westie boy who challenged him. They were sniffing noses, but then their bodies tensed and they were staring into each other's eyes. The other human and I knew it wasn't good, so we went our separate ways.

| Oh no! I used to be very trusting of people who wanted our dogs to meet on-leash but I've become jaded and tend to ignore as many others with dogs as we can now... I've had quite a few people who want their dog to say hi to Jackson and me. Well, stupid me, assuming they wouldn't be asking this if their dog was aggressive or didn't like dogs, would allow it. But there's been at least 10 occasions where I've let the hello's happen and the dog tenses up and begins to snarl and I get Jax away real quick. Thankfully I'm pretty good at reading doggy body language and can usually spot something before it escalates but it never ceases to amaze me the amount of people who spout 'OH HE'S FRIENDLY!' to dogs who are clearly not.

| Wow, that is too bad. I'm glad neither of them were hurt.
