| Dogs bedtime prayer DOGS BEDTIME PRAYER Now I lay me down to sleep, The king-sized bed is soft and deep. I sleep right in the center groove, My human beings can hardly move. I've trapped their legs, they're tucked in tight, And here is where I pass the night. No one disturbs me or dares intrude, Til morning comes and "I want food!" I sneak up slowly to begin, And nibble on my human's chin. For morning's here, it's time to play, I always seem to get my way. So thank you Lord, for giving me, This human person that I see. The one who hugs me and holds me tight, And shares their bed with me at night. Amen!

| Oh my gosh... this is awesome! How well this describes our plight as yorkie parents. We have three yorkies now, and when the third joined us there was no room in the king size bed for my husband and I to sleep. We would cling to the edge of the bed all night! The yorkies had plenty of room sleeping in the middle. When we made the decision too remove them it was really difficult. They didn't like sleeping in their beds just a few feet away. Throughout the night they would wake us up begging to get back in bed with us. In addition to this problem, they started playing "musical beds"... meaning they would switch beds among themselves and move them closer to our bed. We finally solved this dilemma by moving all three of the doggie beds and placing them under ours. (Our bed is several feet above the floor and open underneath.) Problem solved! They are now happy yorkies at bedtime! By they way, you did a wonderful job writing this. It has a nice rhythm and cadence to it. You really brightened my day by posting it. Thank you for sharing! |

| I am happy you enjoyed it, I didn't write it, it was sent to me, I loved it so much I wanted to share it with my YT family. What we won't do for our babies. I have a queen size bed, it's just me & the kid, yet I find myself every morning at the edge of the bed. During the night when I feel I am loosing room I wouldn't think of disturbing my lil prince lol.

| Right on time Thank you for sharing. I have been trying to convince my DH to let Snickers sleep with us when we are at home. She already does when we are in the RV. So perhaps by sharing this with him it might flip him into letting it happen. As I am writing this Snickers and I are cuddling in bed in our RV. Thanks again. |
