| People Think I'm Crazy! Anywhere I go, or anything I do, within an hour I start saying "I have to get home to my babies!" Some people may think I mean human babies, but we on YT know that's not the case at all! Now that its hot out, in the afternoon I'm constantly worried about a popup thunderstorm while I am away from home. I check the radar on my phone constantly because my girls hate storms. My friends think I'm nuts!!!! Who else is this obsessive over there Yorkie babies?

YT 1000 Club Member | Hello. My name us Deidra and I'm obsessed with my yorkie, Rasta. Lol ur not the only one I don't think I've ever been attached to a dog the way I am with Rasta. I think there's just something about yorkies . I'm actually worried about getting another cause I'm afraid I won't like him/her as much. |

| Oh yes, I know what you mean! If I have to go somewhere that I can't take my pups, after about 2 hours I start to feel frantic to get home to them! My sister will never understand and gets mad that I need to get home after a short time, but it's something I really can't help. Sometimes I wish I wasn't like this--I'm always the first to leave everything. My niece got married two weeks ago and an hour at the reception was the best I could do.

| I think of Pluto as my baby too...well all of my dogs are my babies. He seems to fit the label most because he is only 12 weeks old and I am up every 2 hrs taking him out to potty. It's just like when my human babies were newborns! Amy |

| You are absolutely normal. I left my babies for a week last year to go home to mi. I thought I'd go crazy missing them. This fall I'm going to drive so I can take all of them and not leave them. 2000 miles each way. Luckily they all love to ride. |

| I totally understand, especially when they are very young. I used to hate to go out to dinner because the whole time I'd be wishing the waiter and chef could hurry up so I could go home with my fur kids. As they got a little older and having multiples, I worry much less.

| I get called crazy, a lot...they don't know the joy of coming home to the cutest faces and the best kisses ever. Some have learned to give me just a few minutes after they ask me how my babies are doing before they 'have to go'. Others know exactly how I feel, they have babies too.

| Get a camera set up with a phone app - you can watch them, and usually see they are sleeping and doing fine

| A camera and a phone app, that is an awesome idea! I'm glad I'm not the only crazy one! :-)

| I've known a few people like you speak of but thankfully, all of my family and all of my good friends, including somehow even my employers, are longtime, dyed-in-the-wool dog-lovers and understand exactly how I feel about dogs and feel the same way about theirs. I guess I just gravitate to that type person and even with new acquaintances I choose to spend much time with, very quickly we find we have the love of dogs in common. Wonder what it is about doglovers that is different and causes us to somehow attract one another? Doglovers are special people and we always consider our dogs first in almost everything we do or plan. Any trip home after being away for over two hours is always too long as I can hardly wait to get home to Tibbe and see his cute little face!!! And I know he's waiting for me so it makes the trip home even longer! There's nothing like the relief of seeing him sitting on his perch at the front room window or dancing in circles as I open the front door!!!
