| Does your Yorkie's breath knock you down I have done all I can think of to try and fix this problem. She was a rescue and needed a good dental cleaning , which I did and she had two teeth pulled. Put her on Royal Canin food, brush her teeth regularly and put stuff in her water. Still the breath will knock you down at times . It is not constant but too often for me. Never had this problem with past dogs . Any suggestions that have worked for you? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hi and WELCOME to YT . If it smells this bad, then something is still wrong w/ some of her teeth and they're probably rotting somewhere in there. Otherwise, her breath would not smell this bad. Sounds like you need another dental.

Other than that I would ask the vet to take a look.

| Hello and welcome! Not always, but sometimes, it's more an internal issue rather than a dental one that causes bad breath. It hasn't happened with Harry (he loves RC and it suits him) but one of my previous dogs had really, really stinky breath. We had all the work done on her, teeth were perfect - but it was suggested that we change her food, which we did....and the problem was solved within a couple of weeks Just wondering, how are her poops - and is she gassy at all?

| Hey Harrysmum, Her stools are fine and she really isnt that gassy. She does love to go outside and seems like she will eat dirt or even tries to dig down and get worms. I have even considered just letting her potty on puppy pads but hate to confine her to inside all the time. What foods do you have your baby on? |

| I would suggest you to please take your dog to the vet. He would only help you in this matter. |

I've taught him to take a wide berth on slugs etc (a sharp YUCK when he was a baby...now he skirts round them, eyeing them up like they're poison....) I home-cook for Harry - chicken breast, rice or sweet potato, green beans, peas, carrots, sweetcorn + a multivitamin/mineral supplement. I also leave down a bowl of kibble for him to snack on...but most of the dry foods are different 'over here'...I personally still love Royal Canin, but I know it sometimes causes a bit of stinkiness in others Good luck!!!

| Oh no, another worm roller. That smell is unbelievable! I have to wash Sissy's face before I can get anywhere near her and even with the face wash, you can still smell her. It is gagging disgusting. She just rubs and rubs her face on the ground to achive the highest stink level possible
